Greenwood

The Greenwood Conservation Area is the perfect introduction to mountain-biking and a perennial favourite for that very reason.  It has it all - beautiful scenery, a ridge-side trail along a river, lots of twisty sections, trees, roots, and a long fast downhill to end the day.  If you've never been mountain biking, this is the ride for you.

Glen Major

Even though it's right by Durham Forest, a popular area with many trails, Glen Major is a little-known but totally awesome area with a mind-boggling web of trails.  This is our favourite trail.  After riding it (forwards and backwards) for years, we've developed our very own exclusive Epic route through this maze that charts the best path, taking in the best views and maximizing the hair-raising descents.  Once you go down The Snake you will fall in love.  A little tougher than Greenwood, but if you push yourself you can do it no problem.

Don Valley

The Don Valley ride is a lovely meander through parts of Toronto you’ve never seen and probably didn’t know existed.  Starting out at the Fairview Mall, we zip through quiet neighbourhoods, pass under the 401, cross wooden bridges, breeze through tree-lined bikeways, cut through sections of forest, and get to our first and only stop – a delectable Turkish pizza shop.

After a much needed and delicious lunch, we ride through the inner streets of the city and through the Front Street markets to Union Station, where we (you will thank us) take the subway back to Fairview mall.

This is one of our well-loved and most popular rides and makes for a great day out.  For something even more special, join us on our Don Valley Fall Colours ride for an up-close and personal look at the spectacular fall foliage.

Hydrocut

So you can do Greenwood with your eyes closed.  Don Valley puts you to sleep.  Glen Major doesn’t have enough challenges for you.  If that sounds like you, or if you’re just itching for one of the wickedest rides in Southern Ontario, Hydrocut is for you.  This trail near Waterloo almost sounds like a level from Halo, and it easily could be.

Banked hairpin turns, 45 degree V’s, endless ups, downs, twists and turns – there are many reasons why Hydrocut ranks as one of the top trails in Ontario.  If you think you’re ready, hit the button. MTB will never be the same again.
